Our Green/Living Mulch services provide the most ecologically sound way to keep your soil moist and your garden weed free! As well as providing food and habitat for our butterflies, bees, and birds! All plants will be plug sized when planted and planted densely, one plant per square foot. The plant selection will be native and customized to your specific site conditions. The plants will be squeezed in, around, and under your existing plants for maximum coverage. The green mulch will not interfere with your existing plants or harm their growth in any way. All plants will be "deer resistant". Green mulch is superior to hardwood mulch as it never needs to be reapplied and helps with soil erosion as there are live roots in the soil holding it in place. We can use one species for a more uniform look or use a variety to provide the most benefit and resiliance to the property.
